Re-establish the Libertarian Party in Rensselaer County

Who We Are

We are the Local, County Wide affiliate of the Libertarian Party of New York (LPNY).  Having achieved recognition as a party in 2018 with the Gubinitorial race of Larry Sharpe, the state changed the rules for party recognition and nearly tripled the required number of votes required statewide to remain a recognized party in New York.  This same action with onerous requirements to get independent candidates on the ballot.
